MINISTRY OF ARTISTS
„All of Christa Zeitlhofer's ceramic forms are based on ideal geometric shapes – spheres, ellipsoids, deformed circles, squares or rectangles – and break them down in the truest sense of the word. That we understand the circle and the disc as ideal shapes goes back to the sun disc rolling across the sky. When it rises or sets, we see it as an ellipse on the horizon. In the haptically perceptible third dimension, every form created by nature appears to us as something special“.
